Both posters are in nice condition with one being fine and the other near fine. The NF has and intersection of 4 folds that has some wear at the intersection and 1/8" dimple in margin area. Rave flyer is card stock material advertising the "first time ever in SF The Godfather Of Techno Detroit's Juan Atkins SF DJ's Buck Tony Spun Josh". Flyer measures 4 1/4" by 10 7/8" and has a "Where The Wild Things Are - Saturday February 20" colored illustration on verso. Sheet size of posters 28 5/8" by 40". Issued by Scholastic to announce their pending (1st paperback) publication of Sendak's most celebrated work. This is a very large poster measuring 27 x 40 inches. Distributed to teachers and schools, it is safe to assume that most were consumed in the process of display and use. This example may have been unfolded once but remains very nearly as new in its original folded "distribution" condition. A high point in the range of Sendak posters, beacuse of its unique association with the Wild Things book, and the difficulty in finding copies in well preseved condition. Over 20 years handling Sendak material and I have seen no example in better condition, including several I have sold to institutions and collectors. About Fine.
